Mike Parker demonstrates Hovering in PADI Open Water course GoPro, SCUBA

In this PADI demonstration, performed by Director Mike Parker, you will get an in depth look of the hovering pool skill that requires the faintness of breath once assuming the proper postures for this exercise.  After his demo Mike then goes around to each student to critique and check off after they've shown their ability to hover in place and understand this required skill for the Confined Water section of the Open Water Course.  This video is also great for new and aspiring PADI Instructors for the best practices on communicating both above and below the surface.  For more information on our free Orientation, Beginner or Advanced Scuba Courses and Calendar, please visit us -------- http://www.scubaedu.com/beginner-scuba-calendar.html

Fin Pivot - A Complete PADI Demonstration for Open Water Certification

Above water, Mike Parker, Director of SPE Dive School, LLC, gives his spiel on buoyancy and the Fin Pivot exercise.  This skill is one of many new divers will learn during their Confined Water portion of the Open Water Certification course.

After descending to the bottom of the pool Mike Parker demonstrates the Fin Pivot skill then goes to each student to watch them perform the skill before checking them off with the universal 'OK' sign.  Again, we made use of the GoPro camera to give perspective divers a chance to see the complete learning environment they will experience with SPE Dive School or any Dive School of their choosing.  For more information on our free Orientation, Beginner or Advanced Scuba Courses and Calendar, please visit us -------- http://www.scubaedu.com/beginner-scuba-calendar.html

PADI No Mask Breathing during a Confined Open Water course Confined Water, SCUBA Diving — with Mike Parker.

Students of SPE Dive School perform their learned skills in the No Mask Breathing exercise.  As Director Mike Park signals to begin each student removes their mask and swim the width of the pool where they then replace their mask to include clearing the water, another learned skilled.

Breathing under water task a little getting used to.  On an actual dive there may be a need to remove your mask while continuing to breath normally through the regulator with inhaling through the nose.  For a complete course instruction on this Confined Water skill and others please visit our website for more information: http://www.scubaedu.com/beginner-scuba-calendar.html

Giant Stride Entry

Director Mike Park looks on as instructor Mike performs demo of the Giant Stride Entry during the confined water portion of a SCUBA Open Water course.  After donning fins, goggles and regulator, Mike enters the water with a splash and simulates exiting the water as a diver would while on an actual dive.

Our Staff had a GoPro camera on hand to capture the uniqueness of a technique that is actually easier than it looks.
