What better way to introduce someone to diving than by giving them a SPE Dive School, LLC Gift or Course Certificate? We offer Gift and Course Certificates for sale at convenient prices to divers, friends of divers and family members who want to share their love of SCUBA diving.

Certificates are available in denominations of $5.00, $10.00, $25.00, $50.00, $75.00, $100.00, $200.00, $300.00, $400.00, $500.00, $750.00 or $1000.00 and may be used for the purchase of certification or post certification travel packages arranged by SPE Dive School, LLC dive related expenses such as boat fees, tank fees, or equipment rental.

You can also use your Certificates for the purchase of SCUBA equipment, such as masks, snorkels, and fins, or dive computers and regulators from SPE Dive School, LLC". You may combine Gift Certificates to create a specific denomination as well (combine a $25 certificate and $200 certificate to give someone a $225 gift certificate, for example).

Free Orientation

Ever Wonder What it's Like to Breathe Underwater? Find Out!

Join us for a free SCUBA Orientation Session! The monthly orientation meetings last about 2 hours and are conveniently located at our classroom steps from the Friendship Heights metro stop (Red Line).

The orientation session is required prior to participation in the Beginner SCUBA Open Water Course.

Gear You Need

For our dive course, you'll need a mask, snorkel, fins, boots, weights and weight belt, plus the course manual/video. We conduct a Gear Selection Mini-Clinic at orientation meetings.

SPE Dive School is not a retail dive shop, but we do offer the best equipment
at discount prices as a service ONLY available to our students.

At SPE Dive school, we offer a variety of SCUBA lessons to meet your needs:

• We teach frequent open water SCUBA certification courses for beginners as well as advanced SCUBA certifications and specialties. Our classes are available on weekends or weeknights to fit your busy schedule.
• We also offer a class for people who just aren't sure if SCUBA is right for them. Our Discover SCUBA class is a great way to 'test the waters' before fully committing to SCUBA.
